CHEMOPRAG, s.r.o. is the Czech company transformed in full scope of responsibilities in the year 2004 from the company of the same name established in 1992. To increase the flexibility, the company CG Chemoprag Group, s.r.o. has been formed during transformation to provide the non-productive ie non-engineering services and activities. The owners of both companies are 13 Czech private persons employees-shareholders and companies have full time staff of around 108 employees.
The offices of CHEMOPRAG, s.r.o. are located in the Czech Republic. The company completed also several projects abroad.
The company started its operation with a group of 21 engineers subcontracting for Procter & Gamble at detergent plant Rakona Rakovnik and soon expanded its activities countrywide and established its head office in Prague with branch offices in Hradec Králové and Plzeň serving the local market.
The company offers a broad range of services for the investments mainly in the industry, and services for the statutory assuring of the investments projects and services for the procurement. The company can provide complete multidiscipline engineering and design services (process, mechanical, civil, structural, electrical and instrumentation) by own manpower as well as complete project procurement including construction site management, commissioning and start up. All mentioned services are provided by company in Czech and also in foreign languages, mainly in English.
The company provides competitive turn-key projects having lower total investment costs under financing not crediting the stakeholder.
The ownership share in subsidiary companies CODEE Chemoprag Group spol. s r.o. and COMPRAG, s.r.o. enhanced the CHEMOPRAG’s s.r.o. field of activities and broadened the scope of professional competence.
From its establishment, when the company provided the full scope of investment services for Procter & Gamble’s detergent plant at Rakona Rakovnik, a significant portion of CHEMOPRAG services has been assigned for the chemical industry, food, pharmaceutical, and paper industry and last but not least for biofuels, power industry, waste disposal and environmental projects.
CHEMOPRAG has worked or is working in the Czech Republic for US company Procter & Gamble, Westvaco (via French division of company Jaakko Pöyry), Philip Morris - Tabák Kutná Hora (via Swiss Suter&Suter), Master Foods, Coca Cola, Chemithon Corp., for Swiss Lonza Biotec, Nestle, for German Kostal, Pharmaplan, for Japanese Takenaka, Aoyama, for Norwegian Rieber & Son - Vitana, Swedisch AssiDomän Sepap, Austrian Lillehammer, for Netherlands’ Synthon, for Spanish ZANINI and others as well as for many prime Czech companies in the respective industrial branches as indicated in reference list.
